Specialist are compliance officials assigned to contracts to perform specific tasks.  The specialist configuration allows a jurisdiction to specify which of their users are specialist.

Several things occur when a user is identified as a specialist:

1The specialist receives an email when new AAP applications are added

2When specialists are assigned to an AAP application, they are CC'd on some of the emails sent to vendors

Clicking the "Notify about new certification" field will alert specialist to new AAP applications.
