The Simple Search provides simple commonly used searches for the context of the module that you are working in.  That is, the search provides common fields based on the module.  By selecting a field and entering information for that field, PRISM will return records that match the search criteria.  

Each module will have a different set of fields that are commonly searched for.  If you need more filtering or more fields when searching, the advance search or the filtered search can be of more benefit.

Wild card searches allows you to search for specific characters or a subset of characters in the search criteria. Consider the following:

To access PRISM's Simple Search,

1.Select a module from the PRISM left-hand menu

2.From the Big Hamburger Menu, select 'Search...'
