PRISM Alerts give proactive information about the status of contracts and attainment. The alerts are constantly analyzing information in the database in order to determine if a threshold, that you establish, has been met. If so, PRISM will send an email indicating the threshold has been met. Up to three other email addresses can also receive the same notification.
Displayed, below, is a screen for the compliance alert. The first alert will notify Ashley when the contract is 15 days from the contract end date. The last alert, titled contract percent complete, will alert Ashley when a contract is five (5) percent complete.

There are many alerts that can be set and multiple alerts can be set at one time. Modules that have alerts all work the same way in that you identify the alert, establish the threshold parameters, and enter the email(s) to notify.
There are two scopes of alerts: contract level and global. Contract level alerts must be set for each contract. Global alerts are applied to contracts automatically.
1.From the PRISM left-hand menu, click Compliance Management
2.If you have the Concessions Module, click "Contract Compliance"
3.From the Compliance Management Menu, Click ‘List all Contracts’
4.From the Contract List, click the target Contract Name
5.From the Compliance Activity Menu, click ‘Administer Alerts for…’
6.From the Alerts Page:
Step 1: Select an alert type named 'Contract Percent Complete'
Step 2: Enter the alert criteria of 75
Step 3: Select a Prime for the Contract
Step 4: Enter the email addresses of up to three people you wish the alert to be sent to other than yourself.
Step 5: Click the ‘Set Alert’ button
Global Compliance Alerts allows you to set alerts globally, that is, across all contracts, rather than for each specific contract. You will notice the "Global Alerts" button on the Contract Compliance menu.
The other alerts, contract specific alerts, are set on an individual contract basis.
Alert Types
There are three alert types:
Contract Percent Complete - PRISM will notify you when Actual Dollars Spent has reached a set percent of the total contract amount. This alert type will always be sent once per contract.
Contract Goal Percent Complete - PRISM will only notify you if your contract is a certain percent complete and the amount paid to subs is less than a certain percent of the original contract goal percent.
Contract End Date - This alert will simply notify you when the contract end date is x number of calendar days away. You can enter up to three numbers and an email will be sent.
To add a Global Compliance Alert,
1.From the left menu, click Compliance Management,
2.From the Compliance Management Menu, Click the 'Global Alerts' button
3.From the Alerts Page:
Step 1: Select an alert type (see above)
Step 2: Enter the alert criteria (either a percent or a number of days)
Step 3: Select a Prime for the Contract
Step 4: Enter the email addresses of up to three people you wish the alert to be sent to other than yourself.
Step 5: Click the ‘Set Alert’ button
Notifications
Notifications are sent to primes and/or subs who have not reported invoices and/or payments within a certain time frame (a number of days after reporting is due). This reporting cycle is configurable in contract settings. The notifications follow the following business rules:
1.Notifications to Primes Contractors of late Monthly Reporting must be turned on (Yes)
2.Contracts must have a sub plan with periods of performance for subcontractors (start and end dates)
3.If subs are reporting invoices, the Subs required to report Invoices setting must be turned on
This must be established to prohibit PRISM from sending erroneous emails to vendors whom are not required to report or period of performance has completed.
