The Certification specialist configuration allows a jurisdiction to specify which of their users are Certification specialist and organize them by Business Unit.

Certification Specialists are officials assigned to applications and workflows to perform specific tasks on a certification application.

Several things occur when a user is identified as a Certification specialist:

1.The specialist receives an email when new applications are added.

2.When a specialist uses the add to mine feature in the small hamburger menu in the certification module, those applications appear in their "Mine" list.

3.When specialists are assigned to applications, they are CC'd on some of the emails sent to vendors assigned on the certificate application.

Clicking the "Notify about new contract" field will alert specialist to new application.
