The Employee Search Tool (EST) will identify employees across payrolls, employers and contracts then present the payrolls for review.
Note: This tool is extended functionality for the Payrolls capability. Contact your PRISM professional for access.
Using the Employee Search Tool:
1). The EST can be located from the Payrolls-->Payroll Forensics-->Big Hamburger Menu.
2). The EST payroll filter panel appears. Use this panel to filter the search by:

Payroll End Date Start and End |

Payroll time period (same default periods as the Report Center). When using the 'Select Dates', a three-year time frame is the largest time frame between start and end dates. |

Employee Name or SSN |
|
|
Employee Name or SSN (this is why it is important to enter the employee's complete SSN) |
|
|
|
|
|
Highlight Employee |
|
|
Checking this box will highlight the search results where the employee worked on different contracts at the same time. |

3). The following list is presented.
This list comprises payroll information based on the search/filter criteria completed. In this case, the 'Highlight...' check box was checked. So payrolls are highlighted where payroll was submitted for the same employee across more than one contract or employer during the same payroll end date.
4). Clicking the row expansion icon,
reveals more information about the payroll such as pay date and pay hours. Below is an illustration of an expanded payroll search row.
Note the different column heading (green).
