Although most of the contracts are added via the interface with your ERP, project management, or other enterprise system, you may occasionally be required to enter a contract via the user interface. The contract wizard will assist with adding a contract or modifying an existing contract. The rules are slightly different for both. They are covered below.
Note: When adding a contract the following rules are enforced:
1.Every contract must have a contract name and number
2.Contract number must be unique
3.Every tab may be visited or select "Finished" to perform the final save of the contract
1.From the big hamburger menu in contracts, select Add a Contract. You will be presented with the Contract Info tab. At a minimum the contract name and number must be entered for the contract. You may also enter the other profile-related information.

2.Click "Continue to Funds". This is where you will add the funding sources associated with the contract. Be sure to identify federal contracts with a federal funding source if the contract should be included in the federal CFR reports.

3.Click "Continue to Goals". This is where the anticipated enterprise goals are assigned to the contract. Select a goal type and enter the goal. If a waiver was granted for the contract, check the waiver box, and enter the requested percentage, the granted percentage, and the waiver reason. Click "Add" to add the goal to the table.
