69 - Compliance Exception (SMB, SPP)

General Information

 

Purpose

This report shows the contract spend with calculations of spend relative to the prime's spend

Important Fields

prime spend, sub spend, sub plan, goals, contract status, award date

Before running this report

1.Be sure that the sub plans are complete.  Sub's start and end dates will assist with analyzing attainment. 

2.This report will not show spend data if no subs have spend data during the reporting period

 

Note:  This report is similar to report 40 Compliance Exception.  However, this report considers SMB and SPP.  Hence, running this report when there there is no SMB or SPP involvement will render a report that is exactly like report 40 - Compliance Exception.

Business Rules:

1.Find contracts that were awarded between the 'Select Period' dates

2.Find contract spend (prime and sub) between the 'Selected Period' dates

3.Calculate contract percent complete, sub's percent complete (based on commitment)

4.Compare sub's percent complete with prime's percent complete

5.Color code sub's name based of ratio of sub's percent complete to prime's % complete (Green, Yellow band)

 

Note:  In order to calculate prime percent complete, the prime spend is calculated over the contract life.  Sub spend is calculated for the given date range.

 

SMB and SPP Report Considerations

This report is slightly different than report 40 - Compliance Exception report in that this report shows SMB and SPP related data.  The following is a list of differences:

1.Column SMB|SPP shows if the contractor's involvement is SMB or SPP.  Hovering over the indicator will show the percentage of involvement.

2.Gross Payment column will show goal-credited spend associated with attainment.  The see actual spend, hover over the goal-credited spend.
