Non-Contract Spend (Transactions)

Send comments on this topic.

PRISM also collects, manages, and reports on non-contract-related spend.  This type of spend is called Transactions.  Transactions may be in many forms such as:

Credit or P-Card purchases

Quick or Emergency Purchase Orders

Contract Spend

Note: PRISM allows you to associate a transaction with a contract.

Transactions, however, should not be used as a catch-all for spend that has no other category.  Transactional goal attainment should not be mixed with contractual goal attainment.  For example, if the annual overall contractual attainment is 17% and the annual overall transactional attainment is 2.5%, the overall attainment for the jurisdiction is not 19.5%.
