Checklist

The Checklist allows you to manage the list of supporting documentation required for a business registration or a certification application.  The list of items are collectively called the checklist.  There can be several checklist. There may be one checklist associated with each certification application type.  Thusly, if there are two certification application types (i.e. MBE and DBE), there can be one checklist for each because each may required a different set of documents.

 

Note: The checklist is also associated with the Good Faith Effort (GFE) documents in the Acquisitions functionality. That is beyond the scope of this configuration.

 

The documents associated with the checklist may be uploaded by the vendor, during registration or certification, or attached to the registration record or certification application by the jurisdiction.

 

Anatomy of the Checklist

 

Checklist Title

Unique identifier for the checklist.  It often contains the entity to which the checklist belongs

 

Header Text

Introduction of the checklist to the vendor and what the checklist is asking.

 

Footer Text

Direction to the vendor as to what the next step is.

 

Edit Checklist

Allows you to edit a checklist general information.

 

Manage Items

Allows you to edit the uploadable item list of the checklist.

Manage Items

 

Managing the individual checklist items (required documents) are accessible from the "Manage items" link.

 

Title

The name or description of the document that the vendor will be required to upload

 

Sort Order

The order in which the item will be requested

 

Preloaded Items

Allows the vendor to download a document associated with the checklist.  Jurisdictions that have a Personal Net Worth Statement (PNWS) to complete pre-load and empty form.  The vendor can download the PNWS, complete it, then upload as a required (see below) checklist item.  The same holds for a GFE submission.

 

Business Structure

The business structure that the checklist item is associated.  The checklist item will only be requested of vendors of this business structure.  when no business structure is selected then the document is required by vendors with any business structure.

 

Status

Visible determines if the checklist list item is currently available for use

 

Required determines if the vendor is required to upload this document. When Required is false "N/A" is shown as an option for the checklist item.  The vendor can click "N/A" instead of uploading a document.  Otherwise the vendor must upload a document.
