Acquisitions

Acquisitions provide a suite of pre-award processes and capabilities to support procurement activities. It is well equipped to support diversity and inclusion efforts with goal planning, goal setting, and bid evaluations to include good faith effort review.  With this capability organizations can:

 

1.Review procurement information and assign specialist for pre-bid conferences

2.Schedule Goal Setting sessions with stakeholders

3.Perform industry-standard goal setting based on availability, ready-willing-able review, and local preferences

4.Perform Bid Evaluation to include Good Faith Effort submission

5.Communicate and Publish active procurements to the vendor community and where they download more information

Big Hamburger Menu

The big hamburger menu present module-wide options.  The menu options are:

1.Add a Procurement

2.Search Procurements

3.Dashboard Settings

4.Procurement Reports

 

Other menu options are provided by the small hamburger menu.  These options affect selected procurements.

 

Dashboards

Dashboards provide visual display of acquisitions KPIs.  The dashboards are interchangeable.

 

 

Quick Filters

Quick Filters provide an easy way to segment data.  Clicking the Quick Filter populates the data grid with relevant data.  The following are the basic Quick Filters with the data that is provided:

 

Quick Filter

Description of Data

Populates the grid with procurements that have been assigned to the specialist logged in or have been bookmarked by the specialist.  The default filter is 'Mine'

Populates the grid with procurements that have recently been introduced to PRISM by manual entry or import.  "recently" is defined by the configuration to be 'N' number of days.

Populates the grid with procurement that have been made part of a list that vendors can see when they log into PRISM.

Populates the grid with procurements that require a goal to be set within the next 'N' days.  The number represents the number of procurements that require goals to be set. 'N' can be configured.

Populates the grid with procurements that require bid evaluation within the next 'N' days.  The number represents the number of procurements that require bid evaluation. 'N' can be configured.

 

The Data Grid

 

The Data Grid provides various procurement information based on the Quick Filter that was selected.  The contents of the grid may be exported to MS Excel by clicking the Export icon .  Saving the grid layout will save any modification to the column shown, column order, or column filters.

Adding and Removing Columns

The grid has a default set of columns that are shown.  More columns may be added or removed at any time by performing the following:

 

1.Right-mouse-click on the grid header

2.Select 'Columns' from the drop down list

3.Check and un-check the column names

 

Small Hamburger Menu

The small hamburger menu is located in the grid at the end of each procurement row.  This context-sensitive menu presents options that are available based on the users role and the state of the procurement.  Menu options are:

 

1.Add|Remove Bookmark - Add procurement to the user's "Mine" list

2.Edit Procurement

3.Delete Procurement

4.Copy Procurement

5.Evaluate/Review Bid - Allows the user to review, set, and submit evaluations for bids associated with a procurement

6.Set/Review Goals - Allows the user to review, set, and submit a goal based on a goal setting process

7.Correspond - Allows users to correspond with bidders for the procurement
