The Prime(s) tab is where Prime Contractors may be added, modified, or viewed. This is also where the Self-Performing Prime is established.

Selection of the target prime from the list. The list allows auto-completion. Start by typing a Prime's name. |

If the prime is self-performing, complete this section. If the prime is not self performing, leave it blank. |

To Enter or Modify a Prime,
1Search Prime -Start entering the prime's name in the "Search Prime" field and select the targeted prime
2Select Role - Select the role that the prime will have on the contract.
3Award Amount - If there are multiple prime contractors on a contract and they can receive different awards, this field will be visible. Enter the award amount.
4Click Add Prime
A Prime is self-performing when it has been determined that a portion of the spend with the prime will count towards the attainment of an established goal. PRISM recognizes the self-performing prime by the goal established for the prime and the percentage in the Prime(s) tab.
To Enter or Modify a Self Performing Prime,
1.Search Prime - Start entering the Prime's name in the "Search Prime" field and select the targeted Prime
2.Select Role - Select the role that the prime will have on the contract. The list will be populated with configured goals. Selecting one will enable the Self-Performing Prime percentage section.
3.Self Performing Information - Enter the Self Performing percentage (.01% to 99.99%) or amount (>0$)
4.Click Add Prime
When PRISM recognizes a self-performing prime, the spend tab includes the prime's attainment.
Quick Add Company
If you are adding a prime that is not already a vendor in PRISM you can quickly add the vendor by entering the EIN and company name in a popup then continue with adding the prime to the contract.
The navigation button, located at the bottom of the screen changes depending on the mode of viewing. Add mode will present the navigation in a wizard format. The user must visit each tab in order. In update mode, the user can visit any tab at any time.
